About

My interest in this field comes from my own experiences.
Counselling was not widely known or accepted.

Emotional struggles were often seen as a weakness or failure,
while fears and stigmas about mental health still exist today.

I am an advocate for having at least one person,
whether a personal or professional relationship,
who genuinely has your best interests.

Alongside counselling,
I have worked in the following fields:

Child & Youth Care
Client Services
Coaching
Psychosocial Rehabilitation
Social Work
Suicide Prevention

Treatment Areas
Improving Mood & Emotional Processing

Boundaries & Relationship Support

Self-Identity & Cultural Beliefs/Values

Attachment & Challenging Behaviours
Body-Mind Connection & Awareness

Counselling Philosophy

As counselling begins,
connection & trust are essential.

The first priority is getting to know you
and learning more about your life.

I use empathy, genuine curiosity & humour
to create a safe space to explore, free from criticism.

Our work together builds on your self-acceptance,
creating space for growth & healing to follow.

If we find that we are not the right fit,
I will offer my support in connecting you to other services.
1-1 Counselling for:
Youth (15+)
Many teens and young people have trusted me to explore personal challenges, including relationships, attachment, mental health, family concerns, trauma, self-harm, substance use, suicidal thoughts, and identity development.
For over a decade, I have supported youth from diverse and marginalized backgrounds, helping them build hope, resilience, and a sense of possibility for their future and adult lives.
Early Adulthood
Adults often share that they feel understood, as I bring relevant examples and lived experiences to our work together.

-I provide a safe, curious space to explore challenges such as identity, self-esteem, school or work transitions, relationships, mental health, substance use, attachment, trauma, abuse or neglect, and other issues typical of this stage of life.
Adults 30+
With training in lifespan development, I have supported adults through a variety of challenges, including trauma, loss and grief, mental health and stress, family and relationship concerns, life transitions, substance use or addictions, and early attachment-related issues.

I invite you to share any concerns, together, we’ll explore whether we’re a good fit and, if not, I can help connect you with resources that may better meet your needs.
